The successful appointee will conduct research on the ARC Discovery Project "Indecomposable Representation Theory" and contribute to the production of scholarly papers for publication in peer-reviewed academic journals.
Applicants must have a PhD in mathematics or physics and have demonstrated ability to carry out high-quality research in the areas of algebraic methods in mathematical physics and/or representation theory and/or ring theory. They will be able to work collaboratively with colleagues, but also to take the initiative and work independently.
This is a full-time, fixed term appointment for 2 years at Academic level A. As of 2016, the remuneration package will be in the range:
Academic Level A - $79,170 - $84,985 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $92,629 - $99,433 p.a.).
