Lecturer in Applied Mathematics

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a continuing position at the level of Lecturer (comparable to Assistant Professor in the US system) in the School of Mathematics and Statistics. In this position, you will contribute to the vibrancy of the School's research culture and will be expected to undertake a range of teaching responsibilities, principally in mathematics and engineering mathematics, from beginning undergraduate to supervising research students. The successful applicant will have a strong research record in a numerical or computational area of mathematics that complements the School's existing research profile.
You should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or another highly quantitative discipline, or have an equivalent qualification.
