Postdoctoral Fellow in Stochastic PDE's

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a fixed-term Postdoctoral Fellowship in Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics; the position is for 3 years. The position is to 60% supported by a grant from the Marsden Fund of the RSNZ, and the Fellow will work with Drs Boris Baeumer and Mihály Kovács on a project entitled ``Evolutions Equations with Memory and Random Fluctuations" and by 40% by the department.

Candidates should have, or be near completion of, a PhD in Functional Analysis, Stochastic PDEs or related areas. The successful candidate will have demonstrated research experience and expertise in Applied Functional Analysis, the ability to complete research projects, write up the results in publishable form, and good communication skills.
