We are seeking a suitably qualified researcher to assist in the analysis of genetic and microarray data generated by users within the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research and to undertake novel research of their own within our group.
The position will be part of our Systems Genetics Program, an exciting new project which will develop new methods for analysing, diagnosing and predicting disease outcomes. The Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research undertakes basic and applied research in the fields of diabetes, cancer and genetics and also engages in collaborative projects with other groups in these areas.
The successful applicant must have a PhD and/or relevant experience in bioinformatics and will work with Professor Grant Morahan and other members of the Centre for Diabetes Research and Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research teams.
