The School of Mathematics and Applied Statistics is a vibrant and collegial community with a strong track record in research and teaching. The School has several areas of research expertise, including partial differential equations, operator algebras, financial mathematics and applied statistics. The School is now situated in the new Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences at the University of Wollongong.
We are looking for a pure mathematician with priority being given to candidates with research areas including, but not limited to: analysis, partial differential equations, differential geometry, convex geometry and geometric analysis. The role of the appointee will require a high standard of undergraduate teaching in mathematics, external research funding application and the production of research articles appearing in high quality international journals.
