Closing date: 1st July 2013We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with expertise in Stochastic Modeling/Applied Probability. The successful applicant will assist Chief Investigators Professor Nigel Bean (Adelaide), Professor Peter Taylor (Melbourne), Dr Sophie Hautphenne (APD, Melbourne), Dr Mark Fackrell (Melbourne), Dr Malgorzata O'Reilly (Tasmania) and Professor Guy Latouche (Belgium) in extending the range of applicability of matrix-analytic models, as motivated by specific applications. New analytic treatments and tailored algorithmic techniques will be developed.
Salary will commence at $74,001 per annum (Level A, Step 6) and increase annually.
