It has a long tradition of high quality teaching and more recently has built one of the strongest research groups in physics in Australia. Swinburne's vision is to broaden that prowess to become a major research institution in the sciences and technology, and concordant with that mathematics is aggressively building a quality group of research intensive applied mathematicians. Two positions are currently available and appointment will be at the academic level commensurate with experience.
Position requirements:
You should have:
- A PhD in Applied Mathematics or closely related discipline
- An active research program in an area that aligns directly with other researchers in the mathematics group, Faculty or University
- Enthusiasm and ability to teach at all levels
