Salary Range: $44,860 - $59,963 pa plus 17% super
The School of Finance and Applied Statistics is seeking to appoint Associate Lecturers in Actuarial Studies, Applied Statistics or Finance. You will be joining a dynamic team of academics with a focus on achieving excellence in research and teaching.Fractional appointments are possibleYou will contribute to the teaching and development of actuarial studies, applied statistics or finance. You are expected to have an appropriate record of scholarly and professional achievement in a relevant area.Applicants should possess: a good record at an appropriate level of scholarly and professional achievement and evidence of high quality teaching; good oral and written English communication skills; an understanding of how to provide a quality learning environment for students and staff; the ability to promote the College?ôs academic, professional and other activities to business, the professions and the wider community; good interpersonal skills; as well as an understanding of equity and diversity principles. Successful applicants must enroll in a PhD in actuarial studies, applied statistics or finance and the appointment will be for the duration of the PhD candidature.
