Remuneration and Benefits
Level B (LEV B) which has an annual remuneration range of $AUD108,796 to $AUD 129,209pa. Which is inclusive of an annual salary range of $ AUD 91,934 to $AUD109,183 pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading.
About the Position
The School of Mathematical Sciences at QUT has an exciting position for a Lecturer (Level B) in the discipline of Applied and Computational Mathematics, who is able to provide strategic capacity in both research and teaching within the Discipline. More widely, the Lecturer will contribute to QUT’s research strength in computational modelling and simulation science.
Your research will engage with one or more of the research themes of the Discipline, including:
- mathematical modelling of physical processes with industrial applications;
- modelling in biology, ecology and medicine;
- computational simulation of large, multi-scaled or complex systems; and
- developing new mathematical techniques and analysis of mathematical models.
Your teaching will focus on providing high-quality learning experiences for mathematics, engineering and physical sciences students who want to combine their studies in mathematics with real-world applications and computational simulations.
This position reports to the Head of School of Mathematical Sciences for supervision, workload management and for Performance Planning and Review (PPR).
