The School of Computing and Mathematics offers courses in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mobile Applications, Games Programming, Mathematics and Statistics in both on-campus and online modes. The school provides service teaching to business, education and science students. The focus of research in the School is on applied research in Computer Science, ICT Security and Applied Mathematics and Statistics which benefit the communities in our region.
The successful applicant will be expected to teach Statistics subjects to online and on-campus students (on and offshore) at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Additionally the applicant will teach some first year mathematics subjects. The School is seeking someone who has experience in teaching statistics, in particular business statistics and first year mathematics. In addition, the appointee will undertake academic administrative duties that may include responsibility for course coordination and moderation of partner programs. Active involvement in professional engagement and cross-disciplinary initiatives are encouraged.
