We are seeking a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in the discipline of applied mathematics within the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology, which has a strong culture of research excellence. The successful applicant will have expertise in any area of applied mathematics, with some preference towards computational mathematics, data science, mathematical physics and mathematics education.

The incumbent will undertake research and teaching in the discipline or related area, and contribute to other appropriate professional activities within the Faculty. In research, the incumbent will make a significant contribution that expands knowledge, contributing to the Faculty’s research excellence and impact in collaboration with external partners as required.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role an earned doctoral qualification in the relevant discipline area is required.
