Research Fellow in Mathematics
The University of Melbourne
School of Mathematics and StatisticsClosing date: 21st February 2016
The Australian Research Council has funded a research program into geometric methods in representation theory and the Langlands program through its Discovery Grant scheme.
The Research Fellow will need good personal skills and be able to liaise with other academics and researchers in mathematics. Experience relevant to representation theory and Langlands program, broadly interpreted, is preferred.
The Research Fellow would be expected to work closely with Professor Kari Vilonen and Dr. Ting Xue on the ARC funded research program. While the research program is guided by a set of research questions, there will be considerable scope for the Research Fellow to develop their own ideas within the broader research agenda.
